The service

Standiary (the "Site") is a personally run site for writing and reading everyday records and insights. Anyone who signs in with Google can read, like and comment; writers approved by the operator can publish stories.

Writers and content

Writers keep the copyright of their stories and photos. Writers allow the Site to display them and show them in search, RSS and share previews as needed to run the service.

Do not post others' work or personal information without permission, or anything illegal, hateful, harassing, advertising or spam, in stories or comments.

Moderation

The operator may hide stories or comments that are reported or that break these rules. Hidden stories remain visible only to the writer and the operator, with the reason shown to the writer.

Accounts that repeatedly break the rules may lose writer access or be restricted.

Leaving and your data

You can download your data or delete your account at any time from the "Account" page. Deleting removes your stories, comments, photos and subscriptions without delay and cannot be undone. Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy.

Limits

The Site is run by an individual free of charge. We try to avoid outages and data loss but cannot guarantee it; we recommend keeping copies of important stories with "Download my data".

Writers are responsible for the content of their stories.
